Babylon Cup 2019 (October 5-6, 2019)
FUN FOR FENCING FAMILY
Dear friends, we would like to invite you to a children's fencing tournament with a lot of fun for the whole family organized by fencing club ŠERM Liberec in cooperation with the Czech Fencing Union. The tournament takes place at CENTER BABYLON, which is also the largest entertainment centre in the region (Aquapark, Wellness, Funfair, Bowling, IQPARK and the most modern IQLANDIA).

Attendants
The tournament is for fencers born on January 1, 2006 and later (2006, 2007, 2008 etc.). There are following categories: epee boys, epee girls, foil boys, foil girls.
Applications
of attendants are accepted up to September 27th, 2019 by online form (number of attendants is limited)
Schedule
Saturday 5. 10., 9:00 epee boys
Saturday 5. 10., 10:30 foil girls
Sunday 6. 10., 9:00 foil boys
Sunday 6. 10., 10:30 epee girls
Formula
2 rounds of poules (poules of 6 or 7), then direct elimination without repechage
Referee
(for a club)
1 - 3 fencers, no referee
4 - 7 fencers, 1 referee
8 - 12 fencers, 2 referees
13 and more fencers, 3 referees
Every missing referee will be fined at 300 EUR. Referees will be supervised by FIE referee Mr. Vilém Mádr.
Equipment
Name on the back is not required. New mask back strap is required. Blades of all sizes are accepted. Safety requirements: FIE 800N underplastron and FIE 1600N mask are required. Foil fencers must use a conductive bib.

FWF fencing equipment will be sold on site.

Refreshment available in the hall. 4 restaurants are available on the premises.
Parkimg
A parking lot for 450 cars (5EUR per day) is available on site. Buses are allowed to park in front of the hotel.
